Vision Statement

The vision of the College of Business and Public Administration is to produce innovative thinkers and leaders who impact their communities as conventional entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and public sector entrepreneurs.

Mission Statement

The CBA educates a diverse, predominantly urban student body—including from the New Orleans area—in Business, Computer Information Systems, and Public Administration. We provide the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundation for success in business, entrepreneurship, government, and advanced studies, while promoting research that enhances teaching, regional innovation, and global awareness.

The Southern University at New Orleans College of Business and Public Administration undergraduate and graduate programs are accredited by AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), the premier accrediting agency for degree programs in business.
