First-Time Freshman Applicants

If you are working towards a bachelor’s degree, Admissions is where you need to start. Submit an application and one of your counselors will contact you to explain admissions requirements, academics, and scholarship information. Merit-based scholarships can be offered if the student qualifies.

First-time Freshman Applicants Admissions Requirements

TOEFL, IELTS scores are not required for applicants if English is your native Language

Applicants who have previously completed high school and/or college-level work in the US may also receive an English Proficiency waiver.

Additionally, if educated in a non-English speaking secondary school, you must submit a Course-by-Course evaluation of your secondary school work evaluated by a U.S. foreign credential evaluation service. (See recommended services below)  

All foreign transcripts (universities outside of the U.S.) must be evaluated by a and official evaluation company. A list of approved companies can be found on this page.  An official course-by-course evaluation must be included.

  • Secondary School Record (Transcript) in English 
  • Letter of Recommendation from a secondary school official 
  • ACT/SAT Results (if available)
  • TOEFL or IELTS Scores (Non-English speaking natives are required to submit) Required Minimum Scores: TOEFL: Paper – 550 Internet-Based – 80 IELTS: 7.0 
  • Certificate of Financial Support
  • Original certificate of national examination taken by the student (if applicable)
