The Center for Professional Development and Enhancement’s primary purpose is to assist faculty and professional staff members of SUNO in developing and enhancing their professional and technical knowledge competencies and skills in their respective disciplines and areas of employment, by assuring their effectiveness in the performance of their duties and responsibilities at the university.

This is achieved by keeping abreast of technology advancements and issues affecting SUNO, and by pursuing faculty research grants and participating in continuous quality management training activities.
