The mission of the E-Learning Department is to help students with educational opportunities outside the traditional classroom in an anytime, anywhere environment that meets SUNO’s high quality standards and commitment.

These three departments provide a technological infrastructure and services for the University in support of its Mission. These services includes voice, data, telecommunications, e-mail, Banner, computer labs, Moodle and Web services to name a few. Funding for these departments comes from Federal, State and student-generated revenue. Each of these departments stand ready and eager to support all of our constituents.

The Business Administration Department provides an education that equips students with cutting-edge knowledge, professional and research skills, and ethical decision-making abilities essential for successful careers in business, industry, education, government, and for further studies at graduate and professional levels. The Department supports and promotes research and intellectual contributions aimed at improving teaching, business opportunities in the region, and awareness of global issues.

In support of the College's vision to produce innovative thinkers and leaders, it is the goal of Student Services to ensure that College of Business students successfully matriculate at Southern University at New Orleans and graduate in a timely manner.

New students must obtain an ID card upon matriculation. Faculty and Staff are encouraged to obtain an ID card upon hire date. The first initial ID card is provided at no cost.
