Life Insurance

Through the State of Louisiana, Office of Group Benefits, SUNO offers two fully-insured life insurance plans for employees and retirees through The Prudential Insurance Company of America (Prudential). The State of Louisiana pays half of the life insurance premium for covered employees and retirees.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment

All full-time employees and eligible retirees may participate in the Basic and Basic Plus Supplemental plans.
