Counseling Office

Welcome to the SUNO Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) center.

The Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Center promotes the overall success within the SUNO community including students, faculty and staff members. CAPS provides mental health and wellness services within our community fostering interpersonal growth aimed to enhance social, emotional, academic and professional success.  In addition to providing counseling services, CAPS clinical mental health providers conduct assessments, facilitate psycho-education workshops, as well as provide recommendations and referrals for appropriate resources. The CAPS Center seeks to foster an environment that encourages members of the SUNO community to access and utilize on‑campus mental health services. Therefore, the SUNO CAPS Center is a person-centered environment providing culturally relevant evidence-based practices, consultation, and psychoeducation to build upon interpersonal success.
