The Student Veteran Center was created in 2017 to provide a safe space for the military, veterans, and their families. Also, during this time, the university chartered a Student Veterans of America Club on Campus. The Veteran Center strives to meet the unique needs of the population we serve and is committed to helping them succeed. Through the office of Veteran Affairs, the Veteran Center provides workshops, programs, grants, and opportunities off Campus.
Not all of our veterans are eligible to receive benefits to pursue their goal of completing their degree or the funds they receive are not enough and, because of this, we seek your assistance in reducing some of the financial burdens for veterans while attending SUNO in the form of a monetary contribution that will provide either partial or complete aid for our student veterans.
We hope you will consider helping the Student Center make a difference by contributing today!
You can contribute by clicking the link below or calling the office of institutional advancement at (504)286-5342. Please let them know that you want to give to the Student Veteran Center fund for student success. Thank you in advance for your support!
