Welcome Home, Knights! 

New Student Orientation (NSO) marks the exciting launch of a transformative journey for incoming and first year and Transfer scholars. This vibrant event sets the tone for an unmatched college experience, where first-year and first-time transfer students are warmly embraced by the academic community and SUNO Administration. New Student Orientation provides a snapshot to campus life, academic resources, and a host of opportunities. Through engaging workshops, interactive sessions, and collaborative activities, students create connections, cultivate essential skills, and gain invaluable insights to successfully navigate Knight Nation. 

 

Orientation Registration of $125 will be added to your student account - Includes Knight "swag bag", t-shirt, and other materials. Your Orientation registration must be completed in full in order to receive a class schedule. Registration must be completed prior to the Orientation registration deadline. Parents must pay for their own lunch if they attend.

 

All Spring, Summer, and Fall Orientation Sessions are mandatory for First Year, First-time Transfer, and Readmit Students! 

Departmental Presentations, Campus Tours, & Social Engagement Activities  

(Orientation is optional for Parents/Guardians)

 

New Student Orientation Dates 

  • Thursday, January 9, 2025 
    • Students who are living on campus will move into their assigned Residential Hall on Thursday, January 9, 2025 between 6am and 11:00am For more information regarding your Housing Assignment, please connect with housing@suno.edu.  

 

Only students registered for New Student Orientation Registration will receive a course schedule for the spring 2025 term. Register with the link below.
