SSS VIP Organization
SSS Student Organization VERY INVOLVED PEERS (VIP)
The purpose of the VIP organization is to assist SUNO students on how to become involved with campus activities and ultimately increase retention and graduation rates. Students who are involved in campus activities and hold leadership positions tend to increase/ maintain high academic standards.
The mission of the VIP organization is to increase graduation rates for SSS TRIO students.
The goals of the VIP program is to encourage students to graduate from SUNO within four (4) years, increase public awareness of the SSS Program, increase SSS students participation, and assist students in accessing community service hours.
Reasons for joining VIP
· Learn the ropes from experienced upperclassmen
· Campus involvement encourages students to stay committed academically
· Be a member of a new and growing club
· Become a leader among your peers
