The Southern University at New Orleans Royal Court represents the pride, elegance, and tradition of Knight Nation. Each year, outstanding student leaders are chosen to embody the values of our university—academic achievement, service, integrity, and school spirit. The Royal Court serves as ambassadors of SUNO, uniting students, alumni, and the community through their presence, leadership, and dedication.
Miss Southern University at New Orleans
The highest student honor, Miss SUNO represents the heart and spirit of the university. She is a role model for her peers and an advocate for student success, leading with grace, service, and a commitment to excellence.
The Royal Court
Alongside Miss SUNO, the Royal Court includes student leaders who represent each class. Together, they showcase the diversity, talent, and legacy of Southern University at New Orleans.

Role and Responsibilities
The SUNO Royal Court participates in major university events—including Homecoming, Coronation, Commencement, and community service initiatives. As campus ambassadors, they:
