NEWS FROM THE DEPT. OF NATURAL SCIENCES (Anatomy & Physiology Program)

To Our SUNO Community:

Our Anatomy & Physiology program in the Department of Natural Sciences and School of Nursing has received two major equipment, FDA-cleared Medical Education tools, a Convertible Cadaver Table and a Clinical Cadaver Table, respectively, under Health Disparities (see below) for effective instruction delivery, thus strengthening our health education programs tremendously. This brings us to par with Ivy League institutions, which are opting for this FDA-cleared "Cutting Edge" technology to replace real Cadavers, which are expensive to use and preserve and messy.

This represents a significant recruitment advantage aimed at bolstering enrollment, enhancing retention rates, and elevating the overall quality of University Education for SUNO. It aligns closely with our strategic plan, which is dedicated to serving our communities and producing highly skilled graduates from minority backgrounds for vital roles in the clinician, nursing, allied health, and biomedical fields.
