The SUNO Information Technology Center has implemented a service desk system.
This service desk system allows the University constituency to request technological services. In order to request service you can initiate a chat (found on all technology pages), send a detailed e-mail to email@example.com or call 504-286-5237.
Whether entered via e-mail or telephone, the requester will receive an e-mail with a service request number. This number allows the requestor to track the progress of the request. As the request is processed, the requester receives e-mails until the service request is completed. After completion, the requester receives a survey that allows for rating the performance of the particular department. This system allows for accountability and aids in providing efficient service.
