Mrs. Bettye Ekperikpe, the new Director of the Evening and Weekend Division, returns to Southern University at New Orleans after a brief retirement. She is a graduate of Florida A&M University and Texas Southern University. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language and a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling. Mrs. Ekperikpe has several years teaching both in the U.S. and abroad and several years’ experience in management. Her volunteer experience is almost as extensive as her teaching having 13 years of service with the Friends of Odyssey House and five with the YWCA. She is looking forward to working with all of SUNO’s Adult Learners.
