DEA Drug Take-Back

On Saturday, April 30, 2022, the Southern University at New Orleans Police Department will once again take part in the DEA Drug Take-Back program. The purpose of this program is to provide a place for individuals to drop off old, unused prescriptions or over-the-counter drugs or medication for disposal, completely anonymous with "NO QUESTIONS ASKED." Old, unused medications can be dropped off at the Natural Sciences Building from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (Located at the corner of Press Drive and Emmett Bashful Boulevard)

This month, in recognition of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, SUNOPD is holding a presentation in collaboration with the New Orleans Police Department to highlight and raise awareness about victims’ rights, protections, and services. University members can receive information about university and community services, rights of victims and witnesses, and relay any questions they may have. Join us in the University Center on April 27, 2022 at noon.
