[NEW ORLEANS, LA] - Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) has contracted FION Productions LLC, led by Kimberly Dilosa, Founder and CEO, to produce the SUNO Alumni Hall of Fame. The project, sponsored by PosiGen, will document the stories of SUNO alums and culminate in a Hall of Fame ceremony in 2024 in conjunction with SUNO Foundation's Southern Knights in New Orleans Dr. Emmett Bashful Scholarship Gala and Silent Auction, "The Bash."
Dr. James H. Ammons Jr., Chancellor of SUNO, shared, "This Hall of Fame is more than a celebration of individual achievements; it's a testament to the transformative power of SUNO education. These success stories reflect our Knights who are making a difference across the globe."
Nominations for the SUNO Alumni Hall of Fame can be submitted at suno.edu.
"HBCUs are community treasures that should be honored as such. There are SUNO alumni all over the world who have made monumental contributions to our society. The SUNO Alumni Hall of Fame will identify and honor these stories that began at 6400 SUNO Knights Drive, " said Kimberly Dilosa.
FION Productions' mission is to merge pop culture with community solutions for maximum community impact.
"We are thrilled. The launch of the 'SUNO Alumni Hall of Fame" will bridge the gap between alums and our alma mater," said Wonda Crawford, President of the SUNO Alumni Association.
