Please join us for the opening night of the "Life Beyond Bars" Exhibit at SUNO on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
"Life Beyond Bars" is a photovoice exhibit that sheds light on Louisiana's Prison Industrial Complex and its impact on people in our communities. Through photos and personal narratives, formerly incarcerated individuals trace their journeys before, during, and after incarceration. The exhibition underscores the inequalities endemic in the criminal legal system and highlights the resilience of individuals as they reintegrate into society.
