File A Complaint
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
If this is an emergency that involves an imminent risk of harm to self or others, please contact campus police at (504) 286-5290 or by dialing 911 prior to filling out this referral form.
SUNO's primary concern is with the health, safety, and well-being of its students and the University community.
Members of the University community who have experienced any form of sexual misconduct are urged to seek immediate assistance. Complainants or reporters are encouraged to speak to any Responsible Employee to make reports of incidents. Notice to them is official notice to the University. These individuals will inform the Title IX Coordinator of the incident. Complainants have the right and can expect to have incidents of sexual misconduct taken seriously by the University when reported and to have those incidents investigated and properly resolved through appropriate administrative procedures. Only people who need to know will be told and information will be shared only as necessary with investigators, Sexual Assault Response Team members, hearing board members, administrators, witnesses, and the respondent.
