Records Coordinator
The Record Coordinator is responsible for the management of the Office of the Registrar and Student Records. The administrative supervisor will lead by example, providing all students, employees, faculty and staff with excellent customer service. Patience and experience with handling multiple and complex tasks are essential for this role. The administrative supervisor will perform a variety of routine to moderately complex administrative tasks in support of the activities of the Office of Student Records.
Responsibilities
• Assist in processing incomplete grades each semester and the changing of Incomplete grades at the deadline.
• Verifying degrees and downloading transcripts from National Student Clearinghouse.
• Processing transcripts in BANNER and in Parchment.
• Update existing information in the system regarding student name or address changes.
• Process students’ change of major forms in the Office of Records.
• Assist with registering students, processing add/drop forms and the reinstatement of student schedules.
• Assist with the hiring, training and supervisor of all work study students in the Office of Records.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails.
• Greet each student & visitor in a positive and customer service minded manner.
• Receive, review and submit a variety of documents, reports, invoices, etc.
• Organizes and maintains paper and electronic filing systems.
• Assist with special activities such as Commencement.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.
