As a part of the recently approved federal legislation referred to as the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021 (CRRSAA) Higher Ed Emergency Relief Fund II, Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) will be allocating Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students enrolled.  This funding is intended to assist students with any component of the student’s cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to Coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care), or child care.  Clearly, the health and safety of our students come first, and therefore, these funds should be used by students in accordance with their self-described priorities related to the COVID-19 disruption.    However, if you are safe and well, we strongly encourage you to use these funds in ways that support your education in this new environment of enhanced remote learning.
