Technology Policies

Southern University at New Orleans is a State Agency. As a result, it must follow and adhere to all State of Louisiana Policies. Based on State Legislation, the Information Technology Center (ITC) falls under the governing authority of the Louisiana Office of Information Technology. The policies listed below are met to ensure that the State’s and the University’s precious resources are not abused. All policies are based upon existing State Policies and are approved by the Southern University at New Orleans Chancellor.

In September 2009, Angela Sutton ('99) became the youngest Superintendent of the Madison Juvenile Correctional Facility for Women in Madison, Indiana when she was appointed at the age of 33.
