This service desk system allows faculty, staff and students to request services from all the various technology components on campus. In order to request service, send a detailed e-mail describing the requested service to email@example.com or call 504-286-5237.
Whether entered via e-mail or telephone, the requester will receive an e-mail with a service request number. This number allows the requestor to track the progress of the request. As the request is processed, the requester receives e-mails until the service request is completed. After completion, the requester receives a survey that allows for rating the performance of the particular department. This system allows for accountability and aids in providing efficient service.
