- Announcements should be of interest to or for the benefit of the entire SUNO community or a significant population on campus, such as a department, a class (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors or graduate students), faculty and staff, etc.
- Announcements are to be submitted electronically to efrancis@suno.edu or dropped off at Community Outreach/University Advancement. Announcements will not be taken by phone!
- Event information should include:
- the name of the sponsoring/hosting organization,
- the name of the event,
- the date and time and
- point of contact (e-mail, phone number or web site).
- If it is a fundraiser, please consider stating what the funds will benefit. For example, “Proceeds will benefit XYZ’s tutoring program.”
- All announcements are subject to editing in order to ensure an appropriate posting.
- Please submit your announcement no less than one week before your event! Announcements received within a week of your event are not guaranteed a spot on the postings. This guideline does not apply to campus emergency announcements.
- Once your event is completed, your announcement will be automatically removed.
