Effective Spring 2008: All students enrolled in a 100% online course must log into Blackboard, access the Spring 2008 Online Orientation Course and complete the Mastery Test. 24 hours after completing the Mastery Test, you will gain access to your 100% online courses. On-campus courses (Blackboard Enhanced) will be available.

The first letter of your first name, the first three letters of your last name, your birthday month, and date, all together.
Example: John Doe would be: jdoe0109 (must include a zero if your birthday month and/or date is a single number)
*Your initial password is the last four numbers of your social security number.
Students are encouraged to read the student manual, update their personal information/ e-mail address and change their password, located under "Tools" or “Personal Info.”

Student Email Address
Every student has a SUNO email account! To access your email account, click on the Campus Email link from the SUNO Home page. Use your Blackboard username and password to access your account!

J anuary 8, 2008 - The Office of E-Learning is has loaded all 100% online students.
External Email Address Problem
A note the instructors who are using an external email, if you are using an AOL or Comcast email address as you Blackboard email address, please use an alternate email. The SUNO email server does not send or reply to email addresses with those host names and consequently, some of your students may not receive your emails. Yahoo email addresses are a good substitution. Using the Message feature in Blackboard is also a great way to ensure that your students are receiving your messages.

Accessing Courses Prior to Fall 2006
To access your courses from semesters prior to the Fall 2006 semester, you must access the previous Blackboard server at http://blackboard.suno.edu . Your username and password will be the same as it was in that semester.
