Program Description:

The Small Business Management & Development Institute (SBMDI) exists to serve the small business sector of the Greater New Orleans Area.  The SBMDI fulfills that mission by providing basic professional management consultant services through individual counseling, relevant business seminars/workshops and a large collection of business information resources.  The SBMDI has identified its target markets as those including individuals in the pre-venture stage, start-up businesses, and on-going businesses that are primarily comprised of 1-20 employees.

Goal:

The SBMDI is designed to enhance the economic well being of the citizens/businesses of Greater New Orleans by providing comprehensive, high-quality assistance to existing and potential small businesses.  The Institute promotes the formation and growth of small businesses through individual counseling services, seminars/workshops and business information resources to expand and diversify the Greater New Orleans economy.
