Please make plans to attend this very important meeting and be prepared to share your views.
The Louisiana Postsecondary Education Review Commission (The Tucker Commission) was established as a result of legislation by House Speaker Jim Tucker during the 2009 regular session of the Louisiana Legislative Session. The commission would consider ways to trim costs and streamline operations and would include members from state government and groups with expertise in higher education.
The Honorable Tony Clayton, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of the Southern University System is an Ex-Officio member of the Commission. The Commission would report to the Legislature next year.
