Faculty and Staff Email Access

 

University faculty and staff are provided email accounts through the university's Microsoft Exchange Messaging system.

Beginning the Spring 2012 semester, the university will begin the transition of student email accounts to the Microsoft Live@edu. Student email addresses will now end in @my.suno.edu

Microsoft Live@edu Web Access

 

Username/Password instructions (for students only)

 

  • The username name for your Live@edu account consists of the first letter of your first name, the first three letters of your last name, your birthday month, and date, followed by @my.suno.edu.
  • Example: John Doe's username, with a birthdate of January 9th would be: jdoe0109@my.suno.edu (must include a zero if your birthday month and/or date is a single number) 
  • The default password for your Live@edu account is the last 4 digits of the SSN + SU
  • Example: John Doe's password, with the last 4 of his SSN being 1234 would be 1234SU

 

Students that have current email addresses ending in @suno.edu will continue to have access to these accounts until Sunday, February 5, 2012. At that time all accounts will be deleted and any messages will not be recoverable.
