MISSION

 

The Public Administration Department provides education and degrees in public administration that equip a predominantly urban student body, especially those from the New Orleans Metropolitan Area, with knowledge and skills essential for careers in government and non-profit organizations or for further studies.

 

GOALS

    • Student is able to demonstrate an understanding of the importance of professional ethics and its application in the decision making process.
    • Student is able to apply effective communication skills in a professional environment.
    • Student demonstrates ability to analyze and solve problems in an organizational setting.
    • Students will understand the importance of technology.
