LIBRARY
SUNO’s library is approaching one third of a million volumes including
bound periodicals, maps, slides, audio tapes and micro films. The library offers
a wide variety of resources on Africa and the African Diaspora. The library
has computer access to holdings of participating colleges in the LOUIS network.
The Library publishes periodic in-house, subject bibliographies. Additionally,
the library mounts relevant exhibits and provides display space for some
of the African art collections of the Center for African and African American
Studies. While the CAAAS is a Title III component and not under the administration
of the library, it enjoys numerous benefits because of its location in the
library.
