CAAAS Archives
When the Center decided to create an archival component, it desired
to develop a collection of manuscript, printed, and audiovisual
materials, as well as an art collection, that would further enhance
curricular offerings. Its mission was consistent with that of the
Center and the vision of the archivist was the development of a
collection to facilitate the goals of its parent body. Development
of collections to emphasize the cultural, research and teaching
function of the component is an ongoing concern. In addition to
collection development, arrangement, reference services, and publicity
about the collection, a continuing focus must be keeping abreast
of new technology and its usefulness in promoting the aims of the
archives. >>>CONTINUE
